Dear Ones, David had 19 sons. But the only ones that we really hear about are Solomon and Nathan. Solomon, one of the wisest men who ever lived, yet ... Nathan, son of David and Bathsheba, named after the prophet who led his David to repentance in his affair with a married woman. It appears that David loved the prophet Nathan---the one who reproved him with a piercing tongue---loved him all the more for doing that. Loved him all his life. Honor those who treat you faithfully. And. That is repentance. May we follow footsteps of humble honored men like David who knew fully what it meant to repent and turn from his sins.
