The point of despair.
And yet. God.
"Let not your heart be troubled."
Can we stop these little troubles of ours?
Maybe not.
But we can know in the very midst
The Peace and Comfort and Hope from God
even in despair.
Blessed be the God of Mercies
The God of All Comfort
Who comforts us in all our affliction. 2 Cor 1:3
So, how do we find that?
Weighed down.
Beyond our power.
Trust not in ourselves.
But in God Who raises the dead.
2 Cor 1:9
COME BOLDLY: Timeless Prayers
Father, we do come boldly before your Throne of Grace to receive help in our time of need. We all need comfort and hope in the midst of what we are dealing with. So today, when I'm beyond my power because of this depravity in which I dwell, may I trust in You, a God Who raises the dead. Raise me up!
